The Guardian Gems

Here's my part of the Christmas Art Exchange pic for !

Since he's into geology and travelling to study different gems, I figured why not draw his ocs as Gems from Steven Universe! A bit hard with figuring out the names and colors for the girls, but that's not a problem with the Gemsona creator game! You guys can play it on Doll Divine.

Anyways, Energia is Angel Aura, which suited her perfectly in color and name. Akosmia is Snowflake Obsidian, just the right amount of black and white colors for her personality. And of course, thier fusion form is Opalite, to me is basically a harmonic combination of both girls!

For Angel Aura, I designed her outfit to be as close as Energia's outfit as I could draw. I replaced the heart pacth with a star patch on the skirt, and added leg warmers. Because leg warmers are the best! Her gem is a heart shaped gem, located on her chest. Her weapon, not exactly sure, but I think it'd be either a wand for using magic, or a small sword with angel wing designs on the hilt part.

For Snowflake Obsidian, I drew her outfit to be as close as Akosmia's outfit as possible, with an added pair of short, with a sheer skirt over it, and her gem is a diamond shaped gem, located on her forehead. She also has a kind of wrap around her shoulders. In the game, it's the top part of a cape, but I just used the top part. Kinda like a kind of shoulder armor. Her weapon would definately be a hand axe, which she can enlarge or use two axes at once, or she use the powers of darkness and manipulate it into the form of an axe. I dunno, Akosmia's kickass anyways, so either way....!

And Opalite, the fusion of both Angel and Snowflake, her outfit is a combination of both Gems, but the skirt part is a bit longer in the back, she has rainbow streaks in her hair and her hair accessories are a star above three jeweled hair orbs. I originally wanted to draw her with four arms and four eyes, but I thought that was too much, so I added extra wings on the back and made the top wings into a kind of feathered dragon wings. Turned out sweet actually! Her weapon would be a combination of both the wand and axe, creating a double edged sword with a jewel on the top of the blade. (Think of the Sword Card from CardCaptor Sakura, but not in a rapier sword.)

Btw, I only drew one wing, to show what the wings would look like in appearance. The feathered dragon wings and double angel wings were the ideas I had in mind. She could also use the wings as a kind of shield in self defense. Also, I made a color chart of each of the gems.
